Black Jungle Reserve

7th - 11th July

In the Black Jungle we had to do mainly fencing and weeding. The fences are important to save a special palm endemic in the Black Jungle. Otherwise wild pigs and water buffalos would enter the reserve and destroy the plants.
And we had to remove mission grass, an imported grass, because it burns to hot during a bush fire.
